Thinking of working with a stylist? Honestly, the number one reason to book a session with a personal stylist is because you are ready for change. We love helping our clients move forward in their lives and show up feeling their best. If you’re recently divorced, received a job promotion, recently had a baby, or are going through any other transition, our team will create looks to reflect this new phase of your life. Let’s put away the clothing you’ve been wearing for the past 5 or 10 years and update your style to where you are today.

  1. Shopping becomes quick + efficient
  2. Buy clothing that is versatile + fits your life
  3. Get honest feedback with no pressure to buy
  4. Try new clothing styles + colors to build on your personal style
  5. Stop trying to figure out your style on your own

If you’ve tried shopping on your own, you know it can be a daunting task. It can take hours to find pieces you like! Or you might just avoid it altogether because you don’t even know what to look for. Working with a stylist makes shopping fast and easy – seriously, you’re in for a treat!

Your stylist pre-selects clothing and has everything ready for you in the fitting rooms of 3 – 5 different stores. When you arrive, all you have to do is start trying everything on. Yep, no need to go through any racks! The stores and styles that are pulled for you are all based on your lifestyle, personality, budget, and body type.

You don’t have to worry about back and forth returns with online purchases or second guessing yourself on anything you buy.

We like to call our shopping session a ‘Replenish’ session because it sounds hearty and filling. There are 2 or 3 hour Replenish sessions based on shopping budget.

If you are looking to find just a few new pieces to add to your closet and don’t want a full shopping session, we also have Mini Style Sessions. Quick 45 minute styling at one store to help you find what you need for the season.

You don’t have to worry about how to put everything together because your stylist makes sure to help you purchase clothing that can be worn multiple ways. That is, of course, if you aren’t shopping for a special event, that would be a different scenario.

Versatility is key. It’s important to be able to purchase pieces that you can where in your everyday life. We can help you create a capsule or minimalist wardrobe to make getting ready easy. You can open up your closet and feel good about everything you have instead of try things on and take them off. Sometimes people mistake a capsule wardrobe with trying to buy boring basics but it’s more about creating a color scheme and a consistent style.

We know that functional fashion is really important. You want pieces you can wear to work, to wear on days off, and in the evening for a night out. We make sure that what you purchase fits all these parts of your life.

It isn’t about trying to push to buy anything you aren’t comfortable wearing. Instead we focus on listening to what you need and make sure that the clothing your purchase reflects those needs in your life. Styling isn’t about changing who you are, it’s about aligning the clothing you wear to reflect how you want to show up and feel.

We can tell when you walk out of the fitting room whether or not you’ll actually wear the clothing. If you’re fidgeting with it, it’s probably something you don’t feel comfortable wearing. But when you walk out standing straighter, smiling at yourself in the mirror, we know it’s a winner. We don’t try to make a piece work, if it doesn’t work, it’s not for you. Why force the shoe to fit?

If you find yourself buying the same styles and colors over and over again, you might start feeling like you have nothing to wear. When you open up your closet everything looks the same, nothing jumps out at you or excites you.

It’s easy to gravitate to what’s familiar but that can get dated and maybe that’s just not who you are anymore. Your stylist will share new styles that level up what you’ve been doing in the past. The new pieces you try will actually make you feel like you have a whole new wardrobe!

Don’t get stuck buying the same pants and shirts in multiple colors again and again.

You don’t have to be interested in fashion to work with a stylist. We specialize in Functional Fashion and clothing that’s comfortable. We want to make sure you look and feel your best.

If you weren’t successful figuring out on your own it’s because there’s a lot that goes into finding your style and putting outfits together. A stylist knows what’s out there at different stores, they know the colors and connect the dots of who wears what.

The style box subscriptions are a great concept but we’ve found that they aren’t fixing the problem of figuring out what to wear. They send you suggestions that could work for you without knowing what you have in your closet or whether or not the pieces you keep actually work for you. It’s just you trying to decide whether or not you like it enough to wear it. We find most clients end up keeping items because they forget to make the returns or they need something to wear and decide it’s best to keep some of the items, even if they don’t really like them.

The problem is sometimes deeper than just buying clothing. Your stylist gets to know you and is able to figure out what to avoid and what to look for based on their time with you. Every session gets better and better. You’ll also find, with time, your style will evolve again with the changes in your life.

Amazing blog!!! I have been told to hire a personal shopper/wardrobe consultant as they help you dress as per the event which includes right from helping you decide the outfit and then shopping things necessary. Thus, i wanted to read more about it. Thanks for writing this blog.
