How to Style Prints: Striped Pants & Leopard Print

On Instagram, I recently did a poll to see what kind of content you wanted to see more of. The top request was for photos and posts on outfit combinations, specifically around how to style prints and patterns! I love sharing creative ways to wear unique pieces.

These outfits were styled by me in a consignment boutique in Seattle, called Jules. I’m a huge fan of consignment shopping because it feels like I’m hunting for treasure.

How to Style Vertically-Striped Print Pants

Striped pants can be dressed down. They’re not just categorized as just a work pant anymore!

The best part about pants these days is that you can find options with a stretchy waist. So strange right?

You can style stretchy-waist pants to look chic and pulled together.

These Zara Wool pants include a small navy and white stripe print and a bold red side stripe. They have small pleats on the front and a stretchy waistband for comfort and a relaxed look.

You don’t have to exactly match the accent colors in the pants. I paired these with an orange sparkly top and it works perfectly.

Style Leopard Print with Striped Pants

Another way to style striped pants is to wear them with a print. Leopard print is all over and you can’t get away from it these days.

I paired the same Zara pants with an oversized Dolce Gabbana leopard print blouse that I tied up to flatter my figure.

A Tip To Style Leopard Print Pants Properly

Every leopard print piece you own will be styled slightly different depending on how brown, yellow, or beige the piece is.

In this case, the pants are more on the beige and dark brown, so it pairs well with the orange Madewell top.

For fun, I threw in a bright neon yellow sandal and beige bag.
