The Moment to Reinvent Your Style? It’s Closer Than You Think
Have you ever been invited to a celebration—a wedding, a concert, a big work event—and opened your closet only to think: “Ugh, I have nothing to wear”?
You're not alone. And you’re definitely not the only one who’s panic-shopped last minute, worn something that didn’t feel quite right, and then avoided every photo from that night.
I see this happen all the time with clients. And here’s the good news: You don’t have to wait until you're overwhelmed or underdressed to shift how you feel in your clothes.
Let the Celebration Be Your Style Catalyst
Celebrations are more than just a date on the calendar. They’re moments to reflect on who you’ve been, and boldly step into who you’re becoming.
This year, I had that moment with my own birthday. As a Leo (hi, birthday season!), I wanted to wear something that truly reflected me. Not the mom-me. Not the stylist-who-knows-better-me. The version of myself I’m stepping into right now: bold, feminine, confident.
And you know what happened? I left the safe swimsuit behind. I went with the gold bikini that made me feel sexy and powerful, and I’ve never felt more like myself.
This Is What I Want for You Too
💬 "What if someone judges me?"
💬 "What if this is too much?"
💬 "Shouldn’t I play it safe?"
Nope. Not anymore.
Whether it’s a concert, a gala, a dinner, or your own birthday, the outfit you choose sets the tone for how you feel, how you show up, and how you remember the moment.
Real Talk from a Client Win
One of my lifting partners (who's a stay-at-home mom and rarely dresses up) recently got invited to a concert. She realized her old go-to dresses didn’t feel like her anymore. They still fit, but they didn’t excite her.
With a little guidance, she found a new outfit that felt fresh, fun, and totally aligned with how she wanted to show up. She felt amazing. And the photos? She actually loved them.
That’s the power of being intentional with your style.
Style Tip: Start With This Before You Shop
Before you open a browser or walk into a store, take 30 seconds to ask: “How do I want to feel?”
Pick 2–3 words. Maybe it’s bold, radiant, feminine, strong, effortless.
Now shop only for pieces that make you feel that way.
Not based on what’s in your closet. Not based on what feels safe. Based on who you’re becoming.
There’s Nothing Wrong with Comfortable
But You’re Allowed to Want More
Celebrations are the perfect excuse to reinvent your style. But don’t wait for a milestone to give yourself permission. Even a small win (a great week, a goal hit, a fresh season) can be a reason to dress like the version of yourself you really want to see in the mirror.
Whether it’s a new lipstick, a matching set, or finally finding pants that fit just right, you deserve to feel like your most confident self every day.
