LIME GREEN

Having an extra pop of color is an easy way to change up your wardrobe. Don’t let the neon color fool you, it’s easier to pair with pieces in your closet than what you’d think. Make it practical by combining it with darker hues you already own like camel, beige, or wine colors. If you have some pops of brighter tones like yellow, white, or sky blue, that works too!

The trend lately has been super simplistic jewelry, so this is a great option if you’re ready to add some color and unique pieces to your look. I love the jewelry that looks like pieces from a place you’ve traveled to, that has depth and uniqueness to it. It makes it something that feels worth picking up or talking about when people compliment you.

There’s been a lot of back and forth of the debate on whether skinny jeans are out. It’s ok, if you wear skinny jeans, you aren’t totally wearing a piece that’s dated, just mix it up with a piece that is on trend on you’re good to go. If you do decide to venture into the denim silhouette territory, choose wisely. Make sure you find a new denim style that fits well, that you feel good wearing. Remember, not every trend is made for every person and that’s ok. The beauty is you get to try on something new and see if it works for you.

If you love looking put together and dressed up but are finding that some pieces are not totally practical, you’re in luck. You CAN still wear your blazers and trousers but find ways to dress those pieces down. Casual suiting is a popular trend for people that don’t want to give up their style to jeans and t-shirt, but also don’t feel the need to wear a professional full on suit. This has been a personal favorite of mine because I love a good blazer and feel so much better when I’m put together for work in business-like pieces.

WRAP SKIRTS

Skirts have actually been on the very end of client’s must-have pieces since COVID. The wrap skirt is here for summer because it’s a more casual, easy way to add this flirty piece to your everyday style. A wrap skirt feels less intimidating and dressed up than a pencil skirt. It’s also a lot more forgiving and flattering on multiple body types. Find a length that works for you, they come in short, midi, and long silhouettes.

It’s no surprise to see knitwear on the must-have list for spring 2021. People want easy and comfort so designers have come up with stylish ways to redesign a knit piece to make it practical for you. There are sleeveless tops, easy to throw on light-weight sweaters, and dresses. My personal favorite is the dress because it’s timeless and full bright colors to spark joy for the season.
